Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on July 8, 2025.

We at Tailwind Escapes, LLC. dba Reedsong Cottage are working to make our site Reedsongcottage.com and Reedsongcottagemi.com accessible to people with disabilities.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG 2.0 guidelines, and have made the site accessible to the level of AA. This site's contents have been adapted to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard use. As part of this effort, we have also:

  • Set the content order of the site’s pages

  • Defined clear heading structures on all of the site’s pages

  • Added alternative text to images

  • Implemented color combinations that meet the required color contrast

  • Reduced the use of motion on the site

  • Ensured all videos, audio, and files on the site are accessible

Declaration of partial compliance with the standard due to third-party content

Reedsong Cottage is committed to making its services reasonably accessible to all guests. While our main website and booking process strive to follow accessibility best practices, we acknowledge that full ADA digital compliance may not yet be achieved.

A portion of the booking process is handled through a third-party platform, guestybookings.com, which operates independently. We encourage users with accessibility needs to review their accessibility policies directly or reach out to us for assistance completing a booking.

If you encounter any barriers or need help navigating the site or booking process, please contact us directly—we’re happy to assist.

Accessibility arrangements at the Property

Reedsong Cottage is a single-level home with a generally open layout. Please note that access to the main entrance requires navigating at least two steps. The driveway and parking area are level and provide convenient access to the house. However, the property is not fully ADA-compliant and may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility. If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us before booking to discuss whether the property is a good fit for your stay.

Requests, issues, and suggestions

If you find an accessibility issue on the site, or if you require further assistance, you are welcome to contact us through the organization's accessibility coordinator:
